How Practicing FLOW helped me Navigate through Tough Times with Illness

I’ll be honest, February was rough. Robb and I both got hit hard with the flu and pneumonia, and let me tell you, it knocked us completely out.

Over two weeks of fevers, exhaustion, and barely functioning. Robb lost about 10 pounds, I lost 6. It was just miserable.

But in the midst of it all, something kept coming back to me - FLOW, my word of the year.

I had no choice but to surrender, to listen to my body, and to trust that this season of rest was necessary. As much as I love structure and routine, this experience reminded me that sometimes, we have to release control and allow healing to take its course.

What truly lifted my spirits? YOU.

So many of my incredible clients and friends showed up for us in ways I never expected - sending sweet texts, thoughtful cards, groceries, flowers, and even prepared meals. WOW! I was blown away.

The kindness and support meant everything, and I just want to say THANK YOU.

And while being sick was awful, I know that my commitment to a healthy lifestyle—regular exercise, self care, and balanced nutrition played a huge role in my recovery.

All things considered, I bounced back faster than I expected, and that just reaffirmed why I do what I do.

So, if you’re ever wondering if your efforts toward a healthier life really make a difference… trust me, they do.

You don’t always see the impact right away, but when challenges hit, you’ll be so grateful for the foundation you’ve built.

Focus Forward,

SQ

P.S. I wouldn’t trade my healthy habits for anything because they helped me bounce back faster. If you’re ready to build a strong foundation for your health, now’s the time. Q Fit Live enrollment closes Sunday at midnight - Join us here!
