As we continue celebrating 12 amazing years of Q Movements, I’m taking time to reflect on the stories that shaped this journey and Year 4 was truly one of the most meaningful.
Year 4 of Q Movements was all about giving back.
As someone who has always believed in the power of service, this year marked a special shift when I began taking Q Movements out into the community through volunteerism.
I began volunteering for organizations whose missions aligned with mine: helping others live healthier, stronger lives physically, mentally, and spiritually.
I had the privilege of volunteering with the Christian Women’s Job Corps at Harlandale Baptist Church, sharing movement, meditations, and nutrition education with a beautiful group of women who were deeply rooted in faith.
Their strength, resilience, and laughter made every session special. We didn’t just work out, we connected, shared stories, and supported each other in mind, body, and spirit.

I also partnered up with the American Diabetes Association, an organization close to my heart. Diabetes affects so many in our community, and I knew Q Movements could help make an impact.
At the Step Out Walk, I had the honor of leading the warm-up stretches, it was such a powerful reminder of how movement can unite and empower people.
And one more highlight? Volunteering at a Blue Star Families event, supporting the loved ones of our military community. Sharing the power of movement and mindset with those who serve behind the scenes was such a privilege.
This year deepened my belief that movement is more than physical, it’s an act of service, love, and leadership.
MindFit Pro Tip:
Want to boost your mood, sense of purpose, and even your physical health? Volunteer. Giving your time and energy to others isn’t just good for the community, it’s incredibly powerful for your mental wellness. Service creates connection, and connection creates well-being.
Celebrating 12 Years of Q Movements This Month! Every year has been filled with growth, impact, and transformation and I’m so grateful you’re part of this journey.
Giving back has always been a core value of mine, and in Year 4, I got to combine my love of service with the heart of Q Movements: movement, mindset, and meaningful connection.
Focus Forward,
SQ
