This past weekend, I spent time with someone who continues to blow me away: My Grandma Janie who turned 101 this year.


Yes, 101 years old and she’s still thriving. Not because she’s free of pain or challenge, but because of something far more powerful: her mindset.


She doesn’t dwell on limitations. She doesn’t lead with complaints. Instead, she lights up the room with curiosity, humor, and presence.


At one point, she turned to my sister and asked about her trip to Italy. Then she looked at me and said,“Your hair is so thick! Do you wash it every day?”


Oh and she casually mentioned she might be open to having a boyfriend!


Her Secret to Longevity? It’s All In Her Mindset
